A small, closely-knit community by choice, we offer honest, constructive criticism of each others work, a forum to discuss  matters of interest to us as writers, and a friendly and supportive atmosphere to encourage all our members to succeed.

How the Group Works

Members participate in a variety of activities all geared toward gaining knowledge, skill and experience in writing.

All members participate in our weekly writing exercises, The Challenges.
Our aim is that all members submit at least one piece of writing a week, and for each of these, they will critique no less than two pieces by other members. We also accept non-Challenge writing for critique

All members commit themselves to a project or goal by signing a Pact.
This contract with yourself and the group is concieved by each individual member to target their own special needs and circumstances. By publicly declaring your goals, your fellow members can help you to achieve your goals and establish better writing habits.

Members must write a short profile to be incorporated into the website.
Not only does this help new members get acquainted, it contributes to our sense of community and understanding. We know each others backgrounds, strengths, weaknesses. We feel safe to open up and share our work and opinions without fear of the unknown.
