|
The goal of the Wizard's World is to improve our writing through weekly writing challenges and constructive criticism with an eye towards ultimate publication. If you are a writer who shares these goals, is able to critique other's work, can accept criticism of your own work and is able to participate in all facets of our Group activities, then Wizard's World may be a perfect match. Before you fill out our membership application take a few moments to review the rest of the site if you haven't already done so. This will give you a better indication of what we are all about and whether or not you would really like to join us. |
Our requirements are simple and few: You must be 21 or over. While we are not an X-rated group, by any means, we prefer that all our members be of the appropriate age for any erotic, violent, or adult content and language that may appear in work submitted to the group for critique. You must agree to abide by the rules and guidelines of the group and participate in all the group activities. This includes answering challenges, hosting the challenges, writing critiques, providing a profile for the web site and writing a Pact. Finally, you must submit our membership application. |
Our members will review your application and if you are accepted you will either receive an invitation or be placed on a waiting list if we have no current openings. You will be notified of the results of your application regardless of acceptance. We won't leave anyone hanging. Please give us approximately 2 weeks before sending any inquiries regarding the status of your application. Sometimes it takes awhile before everyone in the group makes up their mind. Following your acceptance of our invitation you will be admitted on a trial basis to see if you fit in with our group. We won't take offense if you should decide that the group is not exactly what you were hoping for and decide to leave. In return, we hope that you won't take offense if for some reason our members don't feel you fit in either. Our group works well because our members mesh together despite our differences. |
